Day 146 LOVE the Gym

I went to the gym and signed a contract last month and was having a terrible time actually going in to workout. I was anxious and apprehensive and I was making excuses to delay going. Finally after about two weeks of feeling guilty I worked up the courage to put on my workout clothes and lace up my sneakers and I went to my first Zumba class.
Guess what? I Loved it, i danced and e en though I wasnt always on track with the choereography i kept moving to the music after it was over I couldn't wait to go to the next one. I went to fusion flow the next day and really worked my muscles, it felt so good. I was sore the next day but it is a good feeling to know that you worked hard and your muscles are growing.
I was so excited when I was finally able to put activity minutes in my fitness tracker! I am currently in a streak of two weeks of going to the gym at least 3x a week and I have been going even more then that. I find a class at the gym everyday which is challenging and super fun. If you have noticed I'm gushing about how positive this experience has been for me. My mood has improved so much that my doctor is weening me off one of my antidepressants. Who know that exercise would have such a profound affect on my life. Well I guess some of you knew, maybe you have had similar experiences. Maybe your struggling to start like I was two weeks ago. If you are struggling I hope my experience will help you make your new beginning.
Tomorrow is cardio kickboxing and it's a new one for me but I hear it burns major calories. I will let you know all about it tomorrow. I believe I may becoming addicted to the gym Wow did I just say that! Who is this person?
