Sidetracked and Beat Up by Life

Thursday, August 02, 2012

Well....I got sidetracked on my weight loss goals for a while. In May, I found out that I was pregnant. We were delighted. Two weeks later, I ended up in the emergency room to find out that I had an ectopic pregnancy. I had to have emergency surgery and lost my left fallopian tube. I dealt with a lot of anxiety and stress for the next few weeks. During my recovery, the only thing I could think about was getting back to exercising. This whole ordeal, made me realize how short life is and you are never guaranteed the next day. I am now more determined then ever to reach my goal of 130 pounds by my 30th birthday. My first goal is to get to 199 pounds it will be great not to see the 200's anymore. Can't wait to say good bye to 200's!!!

So sorry for your loss. That is a really tough thing.

Hope you see that 199 soon. I keep flirting with 200 myself....see it 1 week, and it's gone the next. Then I go on a trip and BOOM! There it is again. I'd like to swap it for 190 next time I weigh! :D

Good goals. I will also be thrilled to get out of the 200s. I haven't been there in about 30 years.
So sorry to hear about your pregnancy complications. I feel so fortunate to have 2 healthy daughters and 5 awesome, healthy grandchildren. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
