Quotation of the day:
"Figure out what's good for you, then create a liking for it. You've got to work at living." – Jack La Lanne.
It doesn't matter if you don't have a liking for it. CREATE a liking for it. There's some things like liver - no way jose. Luckily for me I love produce and natural foods. Just have to encourage that and be intentional.

I went to Chick-fil-A yesterday for breakfast; not many there but drive thru was steady. I didn't say anything to indicate I was there for Appreciation Day. Couldn't really tell how the day was going to go.
Later at 10:40am I drove past and every space in the parking lot, and the adjacent parking lot, was full, plus there was a drive-thru line snaked around the building and into an adjacent parking lot. 10:40 is not breakfast and not lunch; which was an indication I suspected they'd be packed all day; so I was very VERY glad I went for breakfast, as there was no way would I have had time to do that.
I heard on the radio the day was a success for the company, and they plan to give away a large amount of the money.
I couldn't help but feel sorry for the employees who worked an all-day, never-ending "rush-day" instead of "rush-hour".
Had a homemade salad for lunch at work - it was sooooooo good. I was so glad I made it. Incentive to keep doing so. It made so much I halved it and saved a container for today. Which I can't wait to eat.
