and today is a new day. simple, but i think it's one of the important lessons here on SP - that each day we wake up with a clean slate, a nutrition tracker and a fitness tracker just waiting for us to do things right - do things better!
yesterday was sooo much fun, we visited a dear old friend whose kids (all grown, like ours) grew up do be close friends of our kids, who are here in sweden as well. we took a walk in the forest and picked chantarelles, which made a wonderful appetizer, and then we had dinner. i love sitting in the kitchen, chopping vegetables with DD and my old friend, sipping on a glass of wine. and it would have been better if i would have been stronger, and had not kept dipping into the bowl of nuts and chips. or if i had not refilled that glass of wine one more time. and then there were the other baked goodies served with coffee earlier and dessert later. but i did. and i enjoyed it.
but today is a new day - and i get a new chance to embrace, a challenge to accept - and SP taught me that it's ok.
