August and September - get lean and healthy

I must take care of me. I am finally back down to new Year's Day weight so am ready to loose this year's pounds ... so I'm fine-tuning June's goals for the next two months and getting ready for October vacation trip to see family.
1. Pray for MY OWN health FIRST thing each morning. This discipline comes hard for me after always putting others first, but I have improved greatly the last two months so will continue to leave it as #1
2. READ scripture for this purpose: a lovely new devotional LOVE OUT LOUD by Joyce Meyer, regular Bible reading - I have started the Gospel of John. Continue to find special phrase of verse to fit the day and meditate on it!!
3.Measuring and weighing food frequently enough to know exactly how much I am eating - but will back away from tracking every item of food - just counting per tally: water, tea, fruit, veggies, protein serving's [fruits and veggies must be 75 gm in order to count as one!
4.Weighing and measuring body every Saturday for public record and weigh daily- I still find measuring a challenge - but consistent with weighing
5.Got a new pedometer and wearing it 7 out of 7 days - push self to fibro limits
6. Use the sitting NEW Elliptical ... Minimum of 10 minutes...have failed this area but going to leave the goal on there and see if I learn that discipline.
7. Study anti-inflammatory foods for self and DH health issues
8.NEW***use a timer and spend 15-30 minutes daily enjoying photo collection in order for me to nourish and feed the creative side of me that has been starving. I need this joy, praise and fun for myself to be at peace.
