This morning I was on a roll, being super productive.
I woke up at 6:45am on my own & decided to get up. Before 10am I read all my newsfeeds, checked up on some social media, did 2 loads of laundry @ the laundromat (including bedding), did some dishes, made a yummy breakfast, hardboiled eggs for snacks this week, began transferring files from the external to G-Man's desktop since I was going to need to resize the partitions on the external in order to continue backing up my files. I also finished the book I've been reading "This Child Will Be Great", the autobiography of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the first female head of state of an African country & current president of Liberia. She also jointly won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011. It's a great read.
At 10:15am I met up with a gf who's moving away for a goodbye chat & coffee at a nearby cafe. Thinking I could just keep working there, I took all of my thesis gear. Instead, I got hungry & decided to come home & eat for free.
I have basically spent from 12:30pm-now (and it'll be a bit longer) dealing with technological issues related to getting my thesis going. I am ready to eat an entire tub of ice cream & I'm starving because I haven't eaten enough today. I'm worried that I'll go a little crazy though if I let myself free in the kitchen. I might try to subsist on a Tbsp or two of PS + raw broccoli & dip.
