The Biggest Loser Challenge has been the motivation I needed to get to the next level. We are 7 weeks in with 3 weeks remaining. I am now exercising... which I really didn't do before this challenge. I must thank the Red Team for all the support and my SP friends! I haven't really seen a big change on the scale, but I am now eating healthier and I'm exercising...so the pounds will eventually fall off.
I have done the ITC challenge this week. It was fun trying to get all the colors Red (cherries), Orange/Yellow (carrots & mango nectarine), Green (spinach), Blue/Purple (black grapes & blueberries), and White (potato) on Friday.
The RTC challenges were interesting... I did the Insanity fit test which is about 24 minutes long... let me tell you that I was cursing Shaun T out and a previous trainer I had a couple years ago... because as I was doing the exercises I realized that I had already done them in my bootcamp classes.
After the workout... I realized that "Hey- I did those exercises before--- I can do it!" Challenge 1 done!
I did two strength exercises back to back from Coach Nicole this week - 5-minute Lower body Resistance Band workout and 8-minute balancing lower body band workout. I've done some of these exercises on a machine at the gym, but never thought to try it on my own. So Challenge 2 done!
I'm hoping to break out of the 200 lb mark this week... if it doesn't happen, I won't sabotage myself...it can happen next week... I just need to take it one day at a time.
