Well I have done 2 swimming lessons. They have told me I would benefit more of having a private coach because all I need to work on is the techniques of swimming! I was so excited! I guess I put more pressure on myself. They told me my freestyle was perfect, just want me to work on speed. Swim as fast as I can for a lap with out stopping.(down one end & back) I didn't even know when I stared that was considered a lap. Ha ha I told you I was new to this swimming thing. I can not believe how much swimming has changed my body in such a short amount of time! I could only do 3 push ups at a time, now I can do up to 13 without stopping! I feel leaner than before. I am still doing other cardio as well though. My knee is feeling so much better. I just stayed off of it for 2 weeks. Slowly started back Monday, not pushing it. I am so thankful for this! Praise the Lord! Thank you for all the support & prayers as well. Lord I did need them! Get out if your comfort zone & try a exercise that you have never done before. I know it very scary to say the least. I only resorted to swimming to help heal my knee. But now my 2 days of swimming lessons & a day in the pool at home I really look forward to it! So give it a try! You might be surprised how your body will change & really find something you love to do other than your same workout. Have a great week! Happy Training!
