6lbs down and it's only day 3!!!

Today is day 3 and I am down 6lbs. I am counting calories (1800 a day) and exercising (only 10min a day, don't laugh) on the recumbent bike during my break at work. I'm sure the first 6lbs is water weight and shock to my body, but it's 6lbs less than before, so I am happy! I only weighed so soon because my weigh-ins are on Wednesdays. I won't lie to you, these 3 days have been difficult. I do well during the day but by night my stomach just growls and growls. I keep telling myself, "One day at a time, Lesley."

Wish me luck ... And, good luck to everyone else out there just starting!

    emoticon on losing 6 pounds. It is a loss,use it. Yes, it is a hard process and it will get harder, but you are up to the challenge. Maybe modify your food by spacing them, maybe having a little more protein .I save a little on my calories ,so if i get hungry later, I will have some almonds of a suger free popsicle to get me thru ,so I won't eat too much. Ten minutes today translates to doing more tomorrow,little goals and before you know it you will be running. Wishing you luck and success. emoticon
