Wow, it's been more than a month since I last blogged. It's been a crazy summer so far. My Zumba instructor took a 2 week vacation which made getting to Zumba a challenge adding to that, I was away every weekend in July PLUS the last 2 weeks. We got back and all I could think about was getting to Zumba on Sunday. Plus I kept thinking of how it would be nice to get back into a workout routine. I rode my bike daily while we were camping but nothing as strenuous as Zumba.
Well, things got a little jumbled up when Bekah fractured her foot on Sunday. She was on the seesaw with her cousin, her cousin jumped off, and the seesaw landed on Bekah's foot. It could have been much worse but 7 hours in the ER is a bit strenuous. Plus, I have been her nursemaid for 2 days straight with only a short break to go to the library and get my hair done. I feel like I can't workout in the living room with her stuck on the sofa.
Today she got her cast put on (a nice hot pink one) and that is much easier to maneuver than the giant "splint" they put on at the ER. She's also in much less pain so she's being a little more active. I'm planning on getting a wheelchair at the local ambulance base (they have them available for loan) and then maybe we can at least get out and walk somewhere even if it's only at the mall. I also have been exhausted (well, we did get home at 1am Sunday night/Monday morning AND Bekah has woken me up several times in the middle of the night both nights) so that hasn't helped.
Alright, enough complaining...I guess I have to take my measurements tomorrow and record them (that's fine). I only gained a pound over my 2 week vacation so that's a definite plus.

*Workshop at Genesee Country Village which will involve at least some walking
*ST once I get home from my folks' house...not sure what part
