This journey we are on is one that takes effort. There are many components and all are important. Yes, we may have "bad days" but the goal is to have more good ones than bad ones and to see progress!
To that end I bought a dollar store academic calendar (starts tomorrow) and some foil stars. I will use my calendar this way:
For tracking food (regardless of the calorie count) - Green Star
For eating 3 fruits or vegetables in a day - Silver Star
For getting 7500+ steps in a day - Red Star
For eating in range - Blue Star
For getting a minimum of 30 minutes intentional exercise - Gold Star
I'll share my calendar with you on Sept. 1 as well as my progress on the scale.

You can use colored pencils and DRAW your stars if you don't have stickers. Or if you don't have any use this guide.
