Well one of the things they tell you to promise NOT to do is weigh in. Now I know why.....I gained this week! So I was trying to think of what I did differently that made me gain, because not only did I gain but I am bloated a bit. I did buy some huge cherries and grapes and I think maybe I overdid it with them. I know I am carb sensitive even with fruit so this next week I will back off on the fruit and focus more on the veggies.
Energy levels are great!! I have been quite energetic so I am loving that part!! And I am also amazed at how well I am sleeping! Definitely a difference there! And even hubby is sleeping better! He works 12 hour nights and many times when he gets home in the morning he only sleeps 5 maybe 6 hours. He is sleeping at least six hours now and even a bit longer a couple days!
Oh and fingers crossed.....my shoulder pain is all but gone!! Seriously??? I have been on anti inflammatory drugs for SEVERAL months for my foot. As long as I was taking them my shoulder was a bit better. But as soon as I would stop my shoulder would hurt again. Well I stopped the drugs about a month ago and today we went down to do P90X Shoulders and Arms. I didn't even realize the pain was almost gone till I was doing some of the lifting!!
So I will be paying more attention to see if it really is gone!! How exciting!
On the other hand my foot is still killing me! But.....I still have a couple weeks on this diet to see if anything changes. I need to focus on my stretching too.
Hubby got some dried fruit to help with running but forgot to take it ON the run! He is still struggling a bit with that.
Next week goals:
Back off on the fruit a bit
Add more veggies
Try more recipes
Spinning/biking
P90X
