High Tea

Monday, July 30, 2012

Have you ever done this?
One of the dear teachers I worked with for many years organized this after the memorial service for one of our group
(that I missed when I was away).
It was great fun!
We met at the unbelievably gorgeous, recently remodeled Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
There was a harpist playing and plenty of delicious tiny nibbles and a choice of several teas.

Just an amazing experience-
we all felt so La-di-dah!
I highly recommend it!

I have gone to high tea twice with my Red Hat group. One was at a place called Infinitea and the second was a royal high tea at my friend's house held in honor of the royal wedding last year. We dressed in dresses and hats/fascinators and made many yummy treats and teas. Great fun!!

Lovely - DD#3 took me for high tea on Mother's Day, and it was great.

Very beautiful. I went to one and we all wore cute hats and white gloves. Really fun.

I did, and loved it, I stayed at the Moana Loa Hotel on Waikiki and they had a high tea, my girlfriend and I did it, she thought it was over priced but ok, and I would love to do it again. my DH thinks I am crazy, but that is ok

There is one at our only local 5-star hotel that I hear is pretty great. I'm waiting for my granddaughters to get a bit older. Then I want to take them for this special time.
