Day 1 has been a success!
I have joined SparkPeople a few times, and have always enjoyed it, but life seems to always get in the way, and I have fallen off the wagon more than I can say.
However, this time I am back in full force, with all the support and tools that I can ever need!
To start off my new changes, I bought the SparkPeople CookBook and have already tried two recipes! Last night I cooked two whole chickens using the Lemon Herb-Roasted Chicken on page 184. Delicious! And having made two chickens will allow us to use this amazing meat for so many different meals throughout the week!
Today for supper, I also tried the Baby Spinach Salad with Strawberries and Toasted Almonds from page 111. With a couple of adjustments for the ingredients that I was lacking, I finished with a beautiful spinach, strawberry, almond and light feta salad with balsamic salad dressing as a side to italian turkey sausage and a couple of mini potatoes topped with sour cream!
So inspiring to have started off my journey this way!
