Although we (sister, mother and I) found a gym that was pretty affordable ($10 a month!), we've had difficulty going due to car issues/lack of gas money. I was trying to take walks without it but the weather did not want to cooperate either! Either too hot or too humid or storming or all three!
Well, we now have a recumbent bike here and it was great to get to use it at home! We also have my dad's fitness equipment that hasn't been used in years that I finally tracked down the manual for online. I'm hoping I can take some time to get to know how to use it and that everything on it still works OK. It has a cardio rowing option that I'm excited to try out because I'm pretty sure I'd love rowing (and it looks exhausting, haha).
I'm also planning on looking into some of SparkPeople's exercise suggestions for stuff you can do at home without equipment, but haven't gotten into it much yet.
So between the gym, walking/outdoor activities, and home equipment stuff I should have plenty of options regardless of money, weather, or other issues. No more disappointment when I have the energy and want to go for a walk/to the gym and can't!
