Follow up to Get Off Your A$$

Monday, July 30, 2012

So I was on MyfitnessPal after posting this blog and a 'friend' asked me to do a Try a Tri with her this weekend...Unfortunately I don't have a bike, but am getting one soon so I had to decline.

She then said how about on September 1st?

I have never tried one or even thought of trying one...but I said what the hell, I threw caution to the wind and will be registering shortly!

It's not a big thing, so I figured WHY NOT? It'll be interesting to see how I do.

So any of you Ottawa locals who want to join, LET'S DO IT!!!!

This is ME...getting off my A$$!!!!

I've always wanted to do a tri. I'm afraid of the swimming though. I find swimming really hard on my shoulder and don't have much of an opportunity to practice. I'd probably be fine with the cycling (in spite of my crappy bike) and okay with the running, depending on the distance.

Can you send me (or post) the registration link? I'll give it some thought.

Having a buddy is great but you have to do this for yourself, so hust get on track and invite family and/or friends to join you when they see how well you adopt into this routine. Congratulations get going. emoticon emoticon
