Wow! I am 35 weeks pregnant! Cannot believe it. I have only 3 weeks left of work and then I begin my maternity leave.
Last weekend we moved into our new house. It was a very busy 5 days for us. I tried to take it easy but was still moving for most of the day. We've got quite a bit unpacked. Getting the carpets cleaned this Friday and then setting up the nursery this weekend once the carpets are dry.
We're also going to start packing my bag for the hospital and putting it by the front door. Getting exciting.
I am not doing very much workout wise. Through-out this whole pregnancy the baby sat really low. Making it hard for me to workout. Mainly I would get cramps every time I started something and would have to stop. So I still try to do something but it's not much and mostly walking. I really thought I would be able to do more but I have to listen to my body.
Now my walks are even shorter because I have begun getting swollen feet, ankles and fingers. It seems to be if I am moving or walking for longer periods of time. So short walks for me. And I have been putting my feet up at work and at home.
I thought I would be upset when I got to the point where I can't really exercise...but I am not. I completely understand that I have to take it easy and listen to my body. And I love working out so much that I know once I get my doctors approval I will be itching to get into my workouts again once the baby is born.
I cannot believe it's a 5 weeks or less (if the little one decides to come early) before I get to meet my baby! I cannot wait! I am super excited. Don't think I have been this excited for anything. It still amazes me that there's a little baby in my tummy...and that I will have a son in a few weeks time.
It's just so exciting! I cannot wait!!
