This week sucked for food and exercise. I was so busy preparing and shopping for my upcoming camping trip that I didn't take care of my workouts. I'm bummed but I know that next week I'll have to make up for the slack. I did a lot of shopping this week, so at least I was active and not just sitting around the house. I also managed to get 6 loads of laundry done, ran the dish washer 3x. cleaned the kitchen and bedrooms and make about 3 garbage runs. So all in all, it was a productive week. While I didn't hit my 250 min mark for working out I still have 2 days to reach 1000 mins.

Camping - What a great 2 days. I have not been camping since I was about 10 and LOVED it. I managed to eat SEMI healthy. I roasted veggies on an open fire but still indulged in smores. I mean, who goes camping and DOESN'T roast marshmallows? One of my friends is from Canada and had never tasted a smore...we pretty much blew her world with that one. Lol. On Saturday we all went on a hike. I've never been on a hike. I was NOT prepared for what we did. I've been working out for the last year and nothing I've done has prepared me for hiking a level 3 hike. Now I've read some of the descriptions of hiking levels and the one I did, sure didn't feel like a level 3. I felt like I'd been a smoker for 10 years with how hard I was breathing. Damn I'm still out of shape! There were so many switchbacks and inclines and OMG so many roots. It was like stairmaster hell but it was pretty and I had great company. Now I didn't make it through the full loop or to the top to the actual lake but I did do 2 miles and on my way down, I totally fell. It was like a slow motion trip. Didn't help that I also had my backpack helping with the forward momentum. Yay for hiking /sarcasm. I think I might have to test out some level 1 hikes for a while to work my way back up to a level 3.

    Sounds like fun. We will be taking the family camping at my grandparents cottage at the end of August. I cant wait, though I'm sure my back won't be lovin it!=) Hopefully your week 7 is going better!
