I'm having a time. For two weeks (last Saturday), I've been trying to do no sugar and no flour, wheat or otherwise. I think I did excellent, until Friday.
I thought it through and decided I could go to this restaurant and order scrambled southwestern eggs and bacon and be within my goal. We get there and I order---sister orders and I immediately say: "Oh, yeah, I want fried potatoes and biscuit and gravy---just give me the same as she's having". Without any thought whatsoever to my goals.
I ate those potatoes just like it was second nature and Iíd been doing it everyday for two weeks (not). I got to the second bite of biscuit and gravy and it hit me. I just about cried. I asked the waitress to take them. Now thatís progress!
Havenít had the same with popcorn. Three times those two weeks I ate 100 calorie microwave popcorn. Now thatís progress! LOL ReallyóI know itís not in the low carb plan and I didnít meet goals. Progress was---I didnít eat 3 servings---like normal.
Iím starting over with Day One of Second Round of my Low Carb (less than 21 a day) Eating. I donít think I lost the weight I should have. Please feel free to check out my nutrition logging.
Am I not eating enough calories with the walking I've been doing?
Asking for any suggestions, thoughts, etc. Need honest and direct. Trust me I don't have thin skin!
