It's very easy to fall out of good habits. I seem to find myself doing that more than I'd like and I know others are too. What takes weeks - sometimes months to get in the habit of doing - we can sabotage ourselves with decisions made in less than one minute. It's easy to say "I'm tired", or "I can't" - we find excuses to not do what we know we need to do. We violate our plans to be better about tracking, drinking water, making healthy food choices - - we also violate ourselves when we do.
"But I'm Tired." - yep. But imagine how much more tired you're going to be if you DON'T get that energy burst in the morning - if you don't have the healthy food option instead of going for sugary foods or drinks full of sugar and caffeine.
"I can't" - nope. You can't if that's the attitude. But if you drop a couple of things from that it becomes "I can" - which is the exact attitude you want when it comes to your healthy lifestyle.
These are things I need to remember more often for myself - and I'm sure if you're reading this you might feel the same.
So I'm rededicating myself to my NEW life. No more junk for dinner, no more sodas, no more lazing around feeling sorry for myself. Nope.
More "I Can" - because I know that's the truth. I CAN and WILL do this for me. I CAN and WILL feel better once I do.
