Back to the Basics!

Okay, so I didn't do too bad while I was on the road. Did my exercise everyday, logged my food... but I can TOTALLY see some bad habits coming back. To the point where yesterday I did the whole "cheat" day. I DON'T DO CHEAT DAYS!

So today, it's BACK TO THE BASICS. I HAVE to be on Sparkpeople daily. I HAVE to log ALL the food I eat. I HAVE to continue to pack my food for work and cook dinner at home. I HAVE to do my TEN AT TEN, walk my dog AND do my fitness minutes everyday. I HAVE to drink my water everyday. I have come TOO FAR to let it slip away by slipping at all into bad habits. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Today I pushed myself to do 60 minutes of continuous lap swimming at the pool. Woot!

    I love the fact that all you have to do is simplify to the basics to get back on track. Way to curb your path. Great job getting in your cardio minutes each day while traveling.

I was at Pennsic land grab, on Sunday morning I did a short walk/jog before finishing camp construction. I loved the me time and my husband is supporting me in continuing it during war week. :) It means a lot that I want to make healthy decisions reguardless of my surroundings.

    You are one very smart lady. You're right. As soon as you notice those sneaky old habits trying to come back, it's a great idea to stop them in their tracks!! I'm proud of you.

    When things start to slip it's always good to go back to what was working in the beginning and start from there again. Good for you.
