Alright... so today at the store was ... different. I implemented the following TIPS...

1. Stick to the outer edges of the store.
2. Don't let the kids (only brought one today) into the center isles, but have them "stand guard at the endcaps while you make a mad dash into the forbidden center isles.
*** note... the one time I deviated from this plan I ended up with some cookies in my cart, but we did opt for sugar-free wafers.
3. Use your list!

I came home with a lot of items for the fridge and very few for the pantry. (some Triscuits, kids cereal, pickles, whole wheat bread, whole wheat speghetti, and fiber one bars).

I feel accomplished.
