Today is flash mob practice from 12-2. I am very excited. I don't think I am much of a dancer, but this will just be all in fun!!!
I have been researching my Victorian Style Steampunk dress, and how to make it. I ordered a corset pattern to make the top, and found a free tutorial so I can make the full skirt. Yes... I will be talking about this a lot over the next few weeks. So bear with me. I kind of obsess over Halloween costumes. I found the perfect boots for the costume (as I am going to lace Tim Burton stripes through my version of the dress), but they are a bit higher than I hoped to spend. Want to see?

Nutrition hasn't been a huge focus for me thus far. I have been focusing on exercising, and 5K training. Now don't think that is me saying I eat whatever I want and don't track. I have shed a few lbs in the last few weeks by focusing on exercise, and I figure I can step that up a notch if I add a better diet to the mix. Which would mean I need to get off the computer and make myself some breakfast..... But long story short - I am going to keep up the exercise this next week, and start making healthier eating choices, little by little. Not expecting perfection (because that is where I fail).
Sunday: 40 minute walk in the am - swimming!

Thursday: 5K training
Friday: str training, walking
Saturday: 5k training
