I use to tell my children if they did not learn from my mistakes, I was going to quit making them. They never did understand my sense of humor. I always told them it builds your character, when you are learning from your mistakes. When my son was about 7 yrs. old he asked me "Don't I have enough character yet?"
I sometimes think this when I see some elderly little person out walking. They may be very slow and others may get upset that they "get in the way" but I think, "WOW! They are still alive and moving!" Not a mistake at all.
