Self discipline...

Are you rewarding yourself via feelings or actions...

This very simple distinction will make your weight loss journey a much nicer experience...
Judging your life by how you "feel" may get you into lots of trouble - especially if you value "feeling good" over everything else...

In my work with addiction, I have to explain not all good feelings are actually good for you...

And by default, not all bad feelings are bad for you...

How many people who are today competing in the Olympics would be there if they had listened to the voice in their head which told them it was too hard...

Or when they had to get up to train in the dark and the cold and "felt bad" or felt tired?

Practice feeling good by using your memories rather than your digestive system - or rather as well as your digestive system...

When you eat for pleasure - ensure you know the calories or the nutritional content so that it stays within your budget for the day / week.

I have a cake allowance - nice...

Until tomorrow...
