My goals for this year are to drop the pounds that I've gained over the years from having babies, the stress of starting/ running my own school group, and taking on as many classes as I can while homeschooling my daughter. These past two years were very stressful.
From now on I will not home school. SO! A goal at the top of my list is to get my daughter into a good school.
My second most important goal is to put my son in daycare.
Next, find a job where I can work while I finish going to school. I'm working towards my Bachelors degree in Nutrition at Texas Women's University. In the meanwhile I need something to keep me afloat so that I can take care of my family and finish school.
After I've graduated and I've found a MORE STABLE job working as a nutritionist I will start on the process of getting myself certified to be a lactation consultant. This is more of a looking farther into the future goal. Like a year and a half to two years from now but I know it's something that I WANT to get done.
More present goals of mine; Drop down to 125 lbs and start working on muscle. The core and most important part of my body which needs the most work is (my tummy).
Start riding my bike more often (before it gets cold again and can't anymore).
I know that in order to be a good mother I have to be a happy mom. I've gone on for too long being grumpy and tired around my kids. I'm 24! There's no reason for this! I want to be an example for them to know what life is like when you take care of your body/ yourself and keep yourself in good emotional health as well. If they're raised with constant yelling when they get into trouble and no energy to make their lives more pleasant than these are the types of people they will be. We have too many people in this world who grew up bitter at their parents because they never made time to make them feel loved or wanted. I LOVE and have always wanted my children! I've just been in a rut of being too tired to deal with life.
We're changing that though and I'm feeling better already. Since I've starting losing weight I've been in a way better mood and I have so much more energy. My kids are loving it and so am I.
I don't want to waste my young years. So I'm getting on with my life by getting healthy!
