Friday, July 27, 2012

The funniest thing happened the other day when i was driving to a Meeting14 miles away! IAs i was driving i noticed this Butterfly clinging on to my car antenna! I slowed to a stop and he seemed to slide down the antenna so i went on and when i got to the Meeting, The butter fly flew off! Im betting he held on for life and didnt get hurt, it just flew off! I was thinking this was a sign or something but who knows! I just thought id share! it was so Awesome to me! BONNIE

As Danmar1 says - Butterflies symbolize many things to many people - but I use them to symbolize a growing up, a coming out - and I use a butterfly in both my team picture and in my own web site -
The Chair Exercise Team are like butterflies - they start as caterpillars - often chair bound and unable yo live a normal life and they work hard and become butterflies - free and living normal lives, doing normal things that most take for granted.
A great example of this transformation is Danmar1 - she has definitely held onto her chance at a normal life with both hands - maybe she was your butterfly!!

emoticon Butterflys mean so many Different, Wonderful things to so many people!!
emoticon We did a Butterfly Release at my Friend Claudine's funeral right after Easter this year. One of the New Born Butterflys flew directly to Claudine's Granddaughter and landed on her lap. It sat there for several minutes as we all said "That HAS to be Claudine saying Good-Bye!!"
I think of her now EVERY Time I see a Butterfly emoticon

The butterfly means a couple of things to me. When I looked for a picture of a girl catching her "normals" I found a cute one of a girl with a butterfly net catching butterflies. I saved that picture to remind me what I am doing. One of the leaders of the Chair Exercise team uses them too. In fact she has done a web site to help team members get additional help called Chair Exercise Fun and it has the butterflies on it and she explains what it means to her.
    Butterflies
The butterfly represents freedom - the freedom one gets from following a healthy lifestyle and gaining health, mobility and a zest for living
