I am 'using' the energy of the Olympics to keep myself moving! I have joined the Virtual Race that Spark People is putting on! I joined 5K walking race. My goal is to do it under 75 minutes, maybe 3 times next week. I CAN do a 10K BUT it makes me exhausted, because it is SO hot by the time I am done!! So here I go, my first race ever! BIRDLSLAURIE, is doing it too! It is fun to know that there are other people in my SP friends committed to this, also!

The past few days I have been feeling great, swimming & more swimming! I have even bought a wetsuit top, still need the bottoms, to swim in the winter. The pool goes down to about50 degrees. I am SO hooked on swimming, I've never had a pool before! Since I am the maintenance woman, I am learning so much about salt water pools AND Quartz Crystal 89%. We are swimming in a health spa!

Also walking & Sheppard intermediate Pilates. My weight is going down, but up a tiny bit from my unscheduled weigh in after food poisoning. I'm back in balance.

My diet is REALLY perfect, getting sick will do that to me. The food tracker REALLY helps!

    Hooray...for all your optimism and your wonderful wit! That pool looks sooooo lovely..and yes you are swimming in a health spa. Salt water is great for detoxing...I take a dip in our beautiful salty waters whenever I get the time...or I slosh along the beach in the soft white sand. It's ALL good! emoticon emoticon Wish we were strolling together..we'd have SO much to talk about! emoticon emoticon
