Well, the scale has been good to me but this victory is worth sharing. The other day my 10 year old came home from playing with her friend from next door and she tells me something very interesting. Her friend's grandma had previously spoken with someone who thought she saw my daughter in Walmart the other day with a college student about 24/25 - year old (we live in a college town so there are lots of college students). The grandma then said to this person that maybe my daughter was with her mother because her mother has lost a lot of weight lately. So to be sure, they asked my daughter if she'd been to walmart lately with a college student and of course my daughter says no, so it's confirmed that the 24/25 - year old looking "college student" was me! Yay to me because I'm waaaay older.
