I was pretty sure that this week would be a gain, but it was a loss!
I would chalk that up to not stressing too much this week. I knew some of the decisions I was making were not good, but I did stay in my nutritional range. I also had a TON of diet soda this week, so I'm sure I'm bloated, but still a loss, I'll take it.
I had a very stressful week and I drank a lot on Wednesday night. I don't drink much at all and never (ok, apparently almost never) on a weeknight. Wednesday it seems as though every girl on my husbands volleyball team had one of those weeks and we decided to have a shot (which was more like a triple), then there was after the games and then one of the girls (a friend of ours) came over after and another friend of mine came over to hang out in the hot tub. We were up WAY too late...I'm talking 1:30 a.m. and then I got a text at 3:05 a.m. to let me know my friend was home safe (he wasn't drinking, but it's a rule that, when you leave my house late you have to let me know that you get home ok) and then I had to wake up at 5. I 'caught up' on sleep after work yesterday and got a good nights sleep but I was sure all of Wednesday alone would unravel anything good I did.
The point? I'm lucky I had a loss and I've learned my lesson! :)
Life is short and it is what you make it, but I don't like sleepy miserable!
