That's right, people. I did it. I reached the first goal I set for myself. I am OUT of the 170's and I am NEVER looking back. I weighed in this morning and was pleased to see 169.8 on the scale. WOOHOO!!!!!
While I am excited and want to celebrate this awesomeness (I haven't been below 170 in about 8 or 9 months), I can't get too cocky.
I know that in order to insure I will continue to see the number on the scale drop I need to get back on track with logging ALL my food, EVERY day, and I have to start exercising again.
Today I am going to do a three mile walk and then some ab work. I need to find my free weights and start using them again. My son got ahold of them and put them somewhere. (I find it quite amusing that the boy can pick up five pound dumbbells, but when I ask him to pick up his toys they are "too heavy" or he is "too tired".
Tomorrow I am photographing a wedding, and will be out of the house for about six hours, on my feet, so I don't know how much I'll be feeling the exercise thing (plus I am getting over a horrendous sinus infection that had me laid up all day yesterday) so I will probably take it easy tomorrow. Well, as easy as I can take it considering what I'll be doing.
