it's all coming together at last!

Good morning everyone, hope you're all well.
I awoke this morning feeling fine for a change!
No pains, no aches, no anything...and I had the best night's sleep in ages!! emoticon

This morning I've already had a nice little jaunt out with DH when he had to visit a customer. We were out well before eight am so not much traffic about, just a glorious sun and a cool breeze through the car window.
It's fair set me up for the day emoticon

We called in at the doctors surgery on the way back so I could have my final check-up and get my latest blood test results.
Things are looking good, my liver levels are fine and my immune system seems to be a lot better too. Still not where it should be but getting there.
My urinary tract and kidney infections have cleared and the stones too thank goodness!
Anyway the upshot is I don't need to go for anymore tests emoticon

I've still been eating really healthily even though I've been ill, it's just the exercising which went a bit by the board and whilst I still did a few of my chair exercises they were nowhere near as vigourous as they should have been so this morning I tuned in to my Anne Burnell video and I'm back to doing my chair exercises properly...with a bit of oomph! emoticon

I also managed a pleasant little walk around the village.
After DH brought me home from the doctors he dropped me off a short distance from home and though it wasn't far I enjoyed the walk back.
The sun was warm on my back and everywhere seemed so peaceful as it basked in the sunshine...I realised how much I'd missed it.
From now on I will gradually build up into longer daily walks until I'm back to my five miles a day. emoticon

And I've found a couple more foods I have an intolerance to so cutting them out of my diet might help me too.
Lettuce emoticon and pineapple emoticonare the culprits!
And while I've been told it's an intolerance not an actual allergy and I could maybe eat them in very small quantities I've chosen not to.

Because my immune system is low I've also begun a daily multi-vitamin tablet and a probiotic drink which hopefully might boost it a bit more. I know I get a lot of vitamins from my food but my body will dispense with anything it doesn't require so it's worth a try.
I'm also keeping on with the extra water intake which I needed for the kidney complaint. I used to drink around twelve glasses a day but I've doubled that now. emoticon

So today is a good day!
A new start day and I hope to soon be reaping the benefits. emoticon
