I'm still in Michigan enjoying time with my daughter and her family. Which includes two goats that have eaten their penned pasture down to nothing. The drought hasn't helped one bit, either. So, they have need to be moved around the regular yard and play like lawn mowers. One of the goats (Sazzle) will stay in the yard - we just have to keep an eye that she doesn't eat all the yard flowers! However, the other goat (Bunnie) is blind. Being outside her pen is frightening. We've tried tethering her, but she just stands there and bawls. She is okay when Sazzle is with her though so we've taken to tethering Sazzle and then Bunnie can stay right by her pal. Most of the time that works, but every now and again she wanders in the wrong direction and loses track of her friend and starts bawling again.
I do not own farm shoes as I live in the 6th largest metro area in the US. Thus, my pretty walking shoes are now covered in... Did you know goats poop little pellets?
