Shredding!

I have been doing the Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred. Not every day, but enough that I can now turn down the DVD volume and exercise to my own tunes (which always helps me get hyped up). It's fun to see progress - I could barely do 2 push-ups when I started, and now I'm over 20! I'm still on level 1, but I think I'll attempt level 2 sometime soon. I love how I can fit that workout in on days when I'm too busy to get to the gym but still want to exercise.

On the flip side, I have been so tired lately. I know I'm getting enough protein finally, but my internship and classes have been so time-consuming that some nights I have to stay up late just to finish my work. I fall asleep like immediately when I get into bed!

Still I am enjoying the summer, and when I'm not tired, I'm pretty happy. I've gotten to spend time outside and see friends here. The craziness somehow motivates me to work harder and balance everything better! (That is, when I'm not procrastinating on Sparkpeople, hahaha.)

    Awesome progress! It sounds to me like you're ready to move on to Level 2! I did Level 1 twice last week and thought of you. emoticon

I tend to manage my time better when I've got lots on my plate, too. But now that the Olympics are on, I'm not getting anything done! emoticon
