Today has been absolutely wonderful! And it's only 2:00. So every Thursay and Friday before I volunteer at the hospital, I go to the gym because it's right across the street and my house is a bit to far to drive just to go to the gym. So I start my workout with 45 minutes on the stationary bike while I watch Doctor Who on my iPhone (Nothing breats free wifi at the gym). So I'm over in the corner being a complete fangirl. I must look ridiculous but I don't care. Then I move to the treadmill to walk. So I open my email and I got an email saying I was accepted to be a camp leader for the Middle school camp for my church! I've wanted to do this for years and it never worked out so this made me so ridiculously happy. I was practically dancing on that treadmill and I couldn't remove the large grin off my face.

If I haven't mentioned it before, almost everyone in my gym is between the ages of 40 and 90. It actually helps me because I don't feel self-conscious. So I'm still on the treadmill and this 87 year old man (who I've never met before) comes up to me and starts talking about how proud he is of me for taking care of myself. It was the sweetest thing ever. He asked me how much water I drink every day. Haha. But it was so great to hear that because I was becoming a little less motivated and I think I pulled a muscle in my leg so I can't work as hard.

The people who make those little comments can make all the difference.
