Someone HELP!!!

So I haven't been on Spark for quite some time...I was doing great without it for a while. I was going to the gym six days a week, eating healthy, feeling good...then something just turned t all off. I lost motivation, stopped going to the gym, have been overeating and just plain eating like crap. My loss of motivation extends further than just my weght loss goals too...I'm slacking off on the house, sleeping more etc. As I know these can all be signs of depression I am certain its not that completely, maybe just a small bout of it. I really just need something to get the fire lit under my butt again. I look terrible, feel terrible and this HAS TO STOP! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my SPARK back??? Usually dont have a problem getting motivated but I am now. Any kind words or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

    Hello,
I fell off for a while too, what happened, is my divorce .. and I found, I only had so much energy in a day - and I had to use my energy into protecting my self from my ex; Now that , I have started a new life, i have picked SP back up 'onto my plate ' .;so do not beat your self up , sometimes, you have to have a break, to deal with other life stuff.. give yourself some credit ... u are back !!!

    It really helped me to start getting some visuals together. I looked through old pictures of myself when I really liked how I looked. I also found pictures on the internet and instagram of hot girls that I would love to look like. By having visuals of toned, muscular bodies it pushes me to fight through the pain when I am exercising. I would also start with tracking food again and maybe scheduling exercise one day this week. Something small like that will get you back into the routine again.

    This happened to me, and I was out for 9 months. Amongst other issues I had mono which can make you incredibly tired and not motivated.

    I will definitely be doing some updates. I'm going to start with revamping my page, taking some pictures (the camera never lies), do some healthy shopping and just take it day by day! Thank you everyone for your support..truly helps so much!

    go for a walk outside with your favorite music on if you still feel tired etc go see your doctor you could be anemic , depresssed or your thyroid or hormones may be off.i am calling my doctor tomorrow i did two rounds of p90x locved hearing tony;s voice and how it made me feel. I mean LOVE IT!!!!!! didn't drop a pound though. Lately i am tired from sun up to bed time can't push play don't want to move to the doctor i go Hope you give updates on how you are doing

    Thanks everyone:) I do have 30 day Shred...one of my favorite workouts actually! I think my biggest problem right now is stress and plain laziness. I have been job hunting and intervewing for about a month and its exhausting...mostly emotionally...especially when I don't get a job that I have interviewed for. I have new workout clothes and a brand new pair of nikes that are sitting in my closet collecting dust. I KNOW I want to get back to my good healthy habits again yet I still haven't done it. Its so frustrating. I will take everyones advice on this for sure...hopefully next week my blog will read "back on the wagon and going strong"....I can remember how good i feel both physically and emotionally when I am healthy.... wll feel that again! I have to!

    I start by making lists - things I like about myself, things that I'm grateful for, reasons I want to improve whatever it is I'm looking to change. Give yourself some time with those ideas and something will probably jump out at you that jump-starts your spark again. Make sure you're taking care of yourself, too! A few healthy meals (and treats), a facial, a walk outside...those always boost my mood. If all else fails, maybe get some new workout clothes - they'll be there in your dresser staring at you until you get up and get moving.

It looks like you did p90x before - have you tried the 30 day shred? The workouts are online if you don't want to buy the dvd, and they're only 20-25 minutes. They've definitely kept me going sometimes, because who can say no to a 20 minute super-effective workout?

I was in the same place as you were, doing great but then I just hit a wall with work and family making it almost impossible to do anything else. So I just recently made a deal with my wife where we are going to work together to get where we want to be and then go on a vacation to celebrate our goal together. My point is do to have someone you can lean on or work with to get back on track? The buddy system usually works well for me.

    Maybe start with a little exercise? Gentle or whatever you are comfortable with, but exercise can produce endorphins that boost your mood naturally.

    omg your thoughts and experiences are sooooo similar to mine - i am trying so hard to get back to where I was also - resetting my gps as we speak - and taking baby steps again - i am tired of being tired and down too so am seeking like minded individuals so we can shoulder this weight together and use each others energy to move back into sparkling sooner and faster .... hugsss g/f make you a priority now.....
