Hey guys,
I'm sorry I was gone for so long. I wish I could give you a "good" reason for my absence but I can't. I was just really feeling overwhelmed and out of balance. Maybe you guys have felt that way too. I thought I'd better take a little time and try to get centered again.
I really don't want to give this (SP) up because this (SP) is a chance to get me healthier. So I'm at it again, knowing you guys were here waiting to hear from me is such support for me. Your examples, your hard work inspiring, your commitment to your health. I find you all inspiring. I hope you'll forgive me for not being there for you, and I hope you'll still want me to be your buddy. Kelly

    Thanks for welcoming me back so warmly. I felt like I had let you guys down while I was gone, and I hate letting people down. You all motivate me so much to do my best. So Thank you for that too! I'll be seeing you all around SP!

    Glad you're back!! The key to this journey is taking care of ourselves, so you shouldnt have to appologize for stepping away to take care of you. Hopefully you were able to identify the things that had you feeling off balance and have put some things in place for yourself to maintain your inner balance.

    I don't care how many times you need to regroup - just keep coming back! We'll be here for ya. I've come and gone so many's just how life goes sometimes. Glad to see you back on Sparks and look forward to sharing stories, tips, and support once again.

    I'm so glad you're back! I was a little worried to be honest.. but I can definitely understand needing some time to regroup. ;o) This isn't an all or nothing journey..
I see it as a 'we meet ourselves where we are' approach and we make the journey what it is. I try not to let it make or define me. ..but its hard.

And you will find the system that works best for you! You are smart and capable so be kind to yourself. You are building something in your self that will carry you the rest of your days, but it will still take trial and error before a lifestyle change is seamless.

I knew you'd be back! emoticon emoticon

    Welcome back; for me healthy living is now a positive mind set - nearly succumbing to a bad diet was a wakeup call for me. Heart problems, excess fat problems, pre-diabetic problems, I could go on.

After cardiac rehab and a nutrition class I set forth some healthy guidelines; but only to stay alive - LOL. It has been a challenge; but for me and those I love well worth the effort.

I banished all unhealthy processed foods; especially those with bad fats and/or high in sodium whether in cans or packaged. I kissed off all sodas, but I still enjoy a healthy beer. I'm back into body building and cardio and currently have 12% body fat (down from 26 %+) with weight down from 206 to a current healthier 181.

SP has been a great help in food and cardio tracking. God bless your progress, Earl
