Can't think of a clever title :p

Well, I stayed home to work today. Slept really good :) And woke up craving tuna helper. It was really weird. So it's like 10 am and I made tuna helper for my "snack" - more like an early lunch! So I had a serving of that and put the rest in the fridge. I could've eaten the whole thing, I wanted Tuna so much!

And I was really tired. :( Got what I needed to do done, so that's good. I've only done a little bit of exercise today - my am yoga (I'll do some more before bed still) and leg lifts and a bit of walking.

I finally took a nap around 2, after the work stuff was done. Think I fell asleep around 3:30 by the time I was done thinking of things I HAD to do that instant, and getting up. I'm BAD at napping!!! LOL

Had the rest of tuna helper around 1 or so. Hubby pointed out to me that Tuna's high in Tryptophan, which helps calm brain activity. Tuna craze explained!!! LOL..

I'm feeling pretty good right now, waiting for hubby to get home, and our apartment is having a picnic for us residents :D I've been looking forward to that! :) I think the tuna & nap were JUST what the doctor ordered!!!

Oh - on a slightly random note - this is the first time after a seizure I have WILLINGLY allowed my body to relax and recoup without pushing it through. Feels pretty good. :)

I believe in body wisdom when it comes to food choices! You probably DID need the tryptophan from that tuna. Glad that you were able to relax after the seizure.

Also, fish oils are really good for you. You can take them as supplements or just eat salmon or tuna once a week.

Glad you made it through the seizure and came out better this time. It's amazing what making peace with both your body and the dis-ease can do!

I'm glad you worked through things and actually GAVE IN to the tuna craving. You're not going to crave something you don't need, especially when you are recovering.
