My doc is so pleased with me! My cholesterol is down considerably - just a wee bit over what it should be. My weight is down 11 lbs since my last visit in May. My blood pressure was perfect!
In the past we discussed my weight issues (in the past meaning before getting serious on SP). I was eating from all the groups and staying in my calorie range. I admit, not able or in alot of cases willing to exercise. He couldn't explain why I wasn't losing a little bit.
This visit was different. I told him I not only track calories now, but sodium, cholesterol, sugars and fiber. I told him I discovered I wasn't getting enough fat in my diet, that once I started adding it things started happening. He was so surprised!
I told him I exercise a minimum of 30 minutes a day. On bad days that may mean 5 minutes at a time, but I try.
"I found what works for me!" I proudly told him. He was all smiles and told me he'll see me in April.
