Baking soda and vinegar, has any one used it for hair

Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Swimming coach once said her team used it for their hair, never tried it, but wondereing.

Need to get motivated on some projects in the apartment, goofing off and not doing them

I have used apple cider vinegar in my hair, I love it. It works great to get rid of shampoo buildup and makes my hair very soft and shiny.
I have also used it as a toner. Our skin likes things that are slightly acidic like lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. So using some ACV on a cotton ball instead of store bought toner is cheap and balances the skins ph level.

My daughter uses raw apple cider vinegar for her skin as a cleanser and really likes it. I can't remember why though.

My Mom used to use vinegar as a rinse after she washed my hair but I have no idea why.
