I thought I would share the success that I have had for the last 12 weeks in my weight loss jouney. I have been able to lose 20 lbs and close to 15 inches in 12 weeks. I can contribute it to a lot of things but the big thing for me has been getting motivated to run.
In April I started a training program with the local running group to get me ready for the big race in June. It definately kept me motivated to meet with the group of people on a weekly basis. I thought that I might slack when it ended but that is far from the truth. I am currently training for a 10K and I have registered for at least one race a month all the way through November. So one might say that I have become addicted
I would like to thank all of those who have encouraged me along the way. Wether the support came in my weight loss journey or my running journey, it all meshes together. I am so thankful to April who turned me and my husband to Spark People because I have been exposed to a wonderful group of people who know the true meaning of support. Yes I admit that I have accomplished alot but without the support of everyone else, it has kept me motivated to keep moving forward. So no matter what part of my journey you have been involved in from weight loss, to running, to being a support for everyday life, and for Hunter and all of the challenges we face with him...I pat you on the back and say thank you!!
