Every one says when you get married you get fat. You get comfortable and stop working out or worrying about the weight and you get fat. Naturally, i said that wouldn't happen to me. My handsome husband loves to exercise and prefers an active life style so that wasn't going to happen to us. My apologies to every one who heard this non-sense. It's not so much that you don't care what you look like, or that you think you don't have to try anymore. That's not it at all, in fact I desperately want to get back to my form cause i want my hubby to have a hot little wife. But, he thinks i'm hot already. All 146lbs of me. yes folks i'm back at that horrid number again. At the end of a long work day we kinda just want to eat dinner and chill out for the night. this is NOT conducive to a healthy life style i know, but we're newly weds and that's quality time.

Ron, who i mentioned in my last blog, my best friend, my love, my new husband. He proposed in December, right before Christmas, we got married on March 18th. Neither one of us cared much about the wedding, we wanted to be married. so we hightailed it to the altar! :D We did have a beautiful wedding and reception (GREAT FOOD!) though.
back to the topic at hand. Back in february we were getting ready for the wedding and still working out occasionally. Ron did the tough mudder with the guys from out church and, with the influence of some friends, had the brilliant idea to sign us up for the one in Oct. at the time we had 8 months to train. No worries! but here it is 10 weeks out and i'm 20 lbs heavier than when i signed us up... so is he. Oops. Now, i'm not completely delusional. I realize i can't get to my best self in 10 weeks. However, at 2 lbs a week, i can be down to 126 by Oct 7, and that's MUCH easier to lift over a mud covered wall than 146. Not to mention it's a reasonable goal. and oh yeah... we'll be that much healthier.
Sunday we played sand volleyball for 2 hours, today i did 30 minutes of turbo fire. and we've got some other work outs on the menu for this week also. Just dance (kinect), running (gotta get up to 10 miles somehow), and some other stuff i hope. At least we're getting started.
