I AM FINALLY LOSING WEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After 2 years of maintaining around 150-155, I am down around 145lbs!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy, I don't really know what to do, say, think. I just wanted to share my joy with Sparkpeople, and from there? Maintain my diet, maintain my exercise program, and get down to goal weight?? OMG, goal weight!!
So, I just went on a long trip, which included 3 and a half weeks of work at an academic summer camp on a college campus in Rhode Island. Right before I left, I had a really intense pep talk with my personal trainer. That provoked my decision to let go of sugar, just for now.
So, during camp, I didn't touch the desserts in the cafeteria. I didn't touch the ice cream, or the mounds of cake and other goodies. I ate 100% sugar free, and probably 90% gluten free. And now?
Well, I stepped on my home scale this morning after not weighing myself for about a week, and it said....145lbs!!!!!
This is an incredible victory for me, as I have been STUCK at 150lbs since I stopped bingeing two years ago. After I got over my binge eating disorder, I lost about 30lbs. HOWEVER, I stopped losing around 150lbs, and thought I'd be stuck there forever.
I GUESS NOT!!!!!
Wow, I feel great. Now, to get groceries for a good lunch, and then it's off to the gym this afternoon.
