Precious moments Chapel

Tuesday, July 24, 2012

This week my dh is off for a few days. I am done summer school, so we went to Carthage, MO to see the Precious Moments Chapel. If you haven't seen it and live near please go see it it is truly AMAZING! Sam Butcher is a great artist. He hand painted all the pictures, also did stain glass windows, the 32' ceiling and carved some doors too! The chapel has the parables, 23 Psalms, Beatitudes, etc. The Hallelujah Square one cannot imagine. The Bible comes alive and you leave in God's peace. It was a great day.
Today we are waiting for our new window a/c.
Thank you for reading this stay cool!

I have a very large collection of Precious Moments. Some are even signed by Sam Butcher and one of the artists! My dream is to go to the Chapel. I use to get the catalogs from there but have not received any in quite awhile. Maybe some day I will get there.
