Yay! I have completed the first week of p90 (not p90x- not ready for that yet!)
I did super with my eating. I have not been counting calories but just eating lots of fruit and veg. with smaller portions of whole grains, meat and healthy fats. I'm usually not hungry because I feel like I am eating a lot but it's just mostly veg and things that are lower in calories than all that junk food I was throwing back.
I have stayed away from any white flour products and only have whole grains now. If I want something like pizza or tortillas I just make them with the wholewheat flour and make everything as healthy as possible. My only down fall is I have too much wine on the weekends. If I lessen that I'll do even better.
Now with the first week over, the soreness that comes with starting a workout program has dissipated so I'm feeling more of the good effects of the exercising.
I had my weigh - in and I lost 7.6lbs this first week. I'm very happy with that!
