Whine, moan and complain... I think not.

Monday, July 23, 2012

It seems I have been a bit befuddled lately, the heat, my meds... who knows. I have been lamenting my confusion. Which way do I go, what should I do.
As I read this last line from BIGLITTLEWOMAN's blog:
" Love yourself just as you are today."

it reminded me to accept where I am now... forget about where I should be. To move forward I have to start with where I am now. So I am off to do what I can for today.

I have always been comfortable in my own skin, even as a teenager, and accept myself for where I'm at. It's been one of the greatest things in this life, being happy with who I am. Not in any way to imply perfection. Very far from it. But accepting.

Good plan. It's easy to want to be @ our destination RIGHT NOW. But unfortunately that's not how it works.

HUGS! Hang in there.

Maybe we can all just love ourselves into a healthy-self lifestyle. Who knows what subconscious messages we have been beating ourselves up with for too long.

When you love and respect yourself it is easier to love others don't you think?

Stay out of the heat Nancy if you can. Today is supposed to be our last 90's for a few days. Whoever thought I would look forward to 80's?? emoticon emoticon

It's really great advice, and timely for me as well. I too am "starting from where I am today."

It's the only option anyway, isn't it? The only thing we can control is the whining and moaning!
