Good Morning, Fellow Sparkies!
Well, I did it - I completed C25K Training this past weekend! 9 weeks - DONE...What a feeling!! My time is actually better than I thought, too! Everyday I'm getting one step closer to my goal time. So, I will continue my AM runs 3-4 x a week.
There are 2 SP Virtual races I've sign up for coming up. The 1 mile one is next week & then 2 weeks after that, a 5K virtual race. My "real" 5K is in 59 days! Who knew there was a runner hiding out in little ol' me? :)
This week I'm starting a new 90 day strength/cardio/MMA workout program. The previews for it look a bit CRAZY! But, I'm up for the challenge. Reading "The Spark" has helped me with goal setting, as well. Nutrition is coming along slower, but has gotten better this week. Taking "The Spark's" & my new w.o. program's grocery list to the store was a good 1st step. When I got home, I made sure to "process" the fruits & veggies. Huge time saver. One of my short term goals is to have 1 fruit & 1 veg at at least 1 meal 5 out of the 7 days. So far, so good.
Don't think I would have made it this far without my family's support, my trusty Ipod Nano, & of course the amazing SP community!
It is privilege to belong to an incredibly supportive health & fitness group. As always, many, many thanks for the encouraging comments, adds & likes. Have to run, my daughter is waiting patiently to use the laptop! :)Until next time, Spark on~
