Live in the now, not in the past or in the future...

Monday, July 23, 2012

LIfe is too short to worry over what mistakes we have made in the past, and who knows what tomorrow may bring. It is now that we have a abundance of joy and happiness and contentment because we cherish what we have and what it means to us.

"Learning to live in the present moment is part of the path to joy. " Sarah Ban Breathnach

Joanie, This is great advice to live by but honestly as hard as I try occasionally I beat myself up about my past mistakes and worry about the future. I'll try my best to improve and think only about each day as it comes. Thank you for sharing this.

I am often overcome by a lovely feeling of wellbeing. So nice. It doesn't seem to rely on circumstances, but on being healthier, and resting in the Lord. One day at a time!
