Back (with a vengence?)

So, I'm totally done with training, and I'm doing that glamorous airline thing called "reserve". I'm hoping that someone calls in sick so I can go fly. In the meantime, I'm sitting in a 2 BR apartment in CA that I share with a bunch of others (11 others).

Anyhow, I took some time the last couple weeks (since I now have a bunch of it) to review my goals.

On my list, has been to earn the "Coast to Coast" Disney medal. I've taken the first steps to earning the medal by registering for both the Tinkerbell and Princess Half Marathons.

I'll admit, I've been a slacker. I haven't kept up with my running, and it shows. I didn't even feel up to an actual "run" today, but I know I can't wait until the last minute on this. I have to start doing something, I won't be able to finish these races (even in dead last).

That's part of why I signed up. Last year, signing up for the 5K helped me motivate to start the 5K programs...this will make me get off my behind and get going.

I'm using the Galloway method. My plan is to finish. I don't need to run the entire 13 miles. In fact, I'm pretty sure I won't. I currently have a hard time running .25 miles. That's going to have to change!

    I think that by using the Galloway method you'll be able to finish strong. You have until January. Good luck!!
