Still around..same ol same ol

Friday, July 20, 2012

Well, I was bad AGAIN. I made the mistake of getting a liquor bottle to keep in the house..that was DUMB. Its gone now of course. It brought up a lot of feelings. I was surprised that I acted completely the same as I did when I was drinking WAY too much when mom was sick. Here I thought I made progress. Ok, I know I have made progress since I have no desire to go out anf get a new bottle. It felt like I was SUPPOSE to drink it since it was in the house. I didn't get drunk on it except maybe twice but I took 1 to 3 shots every day I had it. Won't be doing that again.

I was suppose to read the next chapter of my Willpower book on Monday but my schedule as been hectic and I haven't had time to read anything (not like me at all). I had time planned for it but stuff kept coming up. I am hoping to get to it today..I have been sooo ready to move to the next chapter.

The good news is, I have been eating my fruits and veggies like crazy! I'm still addicted to the Eat Your Veggies smoothie. I made some amazing turkey chili last night and put a ton of mushrooms in it (yummmmm!!!!) and two different kinds of beans.

Ok, "lunch break" is over..back to the grind.

Isn't it annoying that sometimes we make the same mistakes over again! X

Hey - you're making progress! Slipups happen. Forgive yourself, learn from it, and put the past where it belongs. Your Turkey Chilli sounds great!

I need to remember to get turkey for my fixin's. No one is going to be perfect all the time. At least you didn't go on a complete drinking binge. Yesterday's gone. emoticon
